Kent and Medway Armed Forces Covenant Conference

4 Jun 2024

The 10th annual Kent and Medway conference takes place at the Royal School of Military Engineering Regiment in Chatham on 4 June.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Working Together’. The conference will be hosted by Kent County Council. It will bring together a huge range of stakeholders as well as the military, to share good practice and highlight practical ways to support the whole Armed Forces Community across Kent and Medway. This includes those currently serving and their families, Kent Reservists, and the 62,500 declared veterans in the county and their families.

Other speakers include those from the Army Multicultural Network; Kent Police speaking on Working with Veterans in Front-Line Policing; and the RBLI on Providing Emergency Support to Veterans in Kent. The Conference will also hear how Kent businesses are strengthening relationships between business and the Armed Forces Community.
